BRICKS ON BRICKS ON BRICKS

Habari! Today was definitely our toughest day yet on the job, as we've laid several layers of bricks for our interior and exterior walls.

The bricks were quite heavy at the beginning, but we soldiered on. With the combination of all the heavy lifting we've been doing and all the African food we're eating, you can say we're on a proper bulking routine.

Speaking of the food, we have to give a shout out to Sophia, our "hostel mother", and her girls for all the fantastic food they've been providing us at breakfast and dinner. Today they made us fish and rice with lentils for dinner, and it was all delicious.

Lunch was a different story, however, as we've resorted to liquid peanut butter and jam to make possibly the worst PB&J sandwiches in the history of mankind.

By the end of the day, all the walls have reached up to our elbows. The shorter members of our team are starting to question if they can contribute after today.

Finally, the highlight of our day was Hoang establishing dominance over the chickens of the school.

SWAHILI PHRASE OF THE DAY:
