Excavation has Begun!

Once again, we have so many awesome updates to share!

This past week we officially filmed our promotional HornRaiser video. In case you don’t know, HornRaiser is the new UT crowd-funding platform and once our page is officially up I will post the link so you can see our video and follow our funding progress.

Our team has also been hard at work preparing for our upcoming SLAB presentation. This is where we update our overseeing professional engineering and social work panel who will decide if we are making sufficient progress and keeping to a feasible goal. Hopefully they will be impressed with us!

Now, as you can tell from our title, we have some very VERY exciting news…Excavation has officially started! The beginning of excavation before the rainy season was one of our most pressing goals, now that we have accomplished it, we are all very relieved. Our wonderful NGO coordinator, Mohamed, sent us an email earlier this week informing us that excavation was to start on 3/8/15 and sure enough, he sent us a follow up email with pictures of the construction and of some of the children at Pongwe! So, without further ado, I would like to share with you some of the pictures he has shared with us!
